A YA Christmas Tale by Clint Chico

Our Christmas read this year is a special one, as it comes from one of our favourite writers, YA author Clint Chico.
With eleven books under his belt, the thing we appreciate the most about his work is his ability to develop memorable characters who are unapologetic about who they are and always look out for others.
His books strike the perfect balance between being quirky and entertaining while dealing with “difficult” subjects in a meaningful, uplifting way.
Here’s a little more about Clint’s latest creative effort…
The Story
Cassidy Lane and Ashlynn Harper are in love. They’re also in a lot of trouble. They’re in deep with Carter High School’s version of the mafia, and the only way out is to win a bet. Their challenge? Improve twelve people’s lives before Christmas Eve. Their plan? Find six potential couples and help them fall in love just in time for the holidays. Not an easy task, even for two Christmas-obsessed girls like Ash and Cassie. A challenge like this is going to require a little mischief. And a lot of mistletoe.
The Book’s USPs
This is a YA Christmas rom-com that’s heavy on love and laughs. It’s at times both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Like all of Clint Chico’s books, it features LGBTQ characters and a racially diverse cast.
